History
GDK & Company and The Baker Agency partnered together to form Student Athletic Insurance Services in late 2014. Our goal is to listen to our clients, evaluate their specific situation, and design a plan that benefits both the school and the student athlete.
GDK & Company is an insurance and investment firm located in North Canton, Ohio. GDK is entering their 41st year in the industry, offering Employee Benefits, Employer-sponsored Group Benefits, Executive Benefits, Personal Financial Planning, Investment Services, and individual Life, Disability & Long Term Care insurance.
The Baker Agency, Inc. was founded in 1988, and focuses solely on interscholastic and intercollegiate athletic insurance. The agency currently offers medical insurance for high school, university, and college sports programs across 28 states, and has one of the greatest knowledge base of the athletic insurance industry.
With GDK’s vast industry experience, and Baker’s leadership in the intercollegiate athletic market place, SAIS is looking forward to serving NCAA, NAIA & NJCAA institutions well into the future.
